can i format certain records in access

I am doing a database in access in table form. Is there away of formatting
certain records either a different colour or font or shade the record,
without setting a value for the programme to do it, just when I need to. I
have tried selecting and it is just changing the whole table.

Conditional Formatting can be applied to forms, but not to raw tables, and I
don't think queries either.

Unless there is a compelling need to only show the data in a table view, I
highly recommend using forms instead.
