can I format a pivot table to change minutes to hours?

My pivot table is set up to give the sum of a column which has data entered
in minutes, hence the pivot table cell gives the 'answer' in minutes

Is it possible to format the pivot table cell so that when the data is
refreshed, the minutes are changed to hours?

I have no experience of pivot tables so I do not know if it is possible to
format them as I want

I am using Excel 2002

many thanks

I think I'd just fix the raw data first.

=B2/60

would convert minutes to hours.

=b2/60/24
would convert minutes to time. Format it as time (hh:mm).

If your pivottable sum can exceed 24, then try giving the cell a custom format
of:

[hh]:mm

You can end up with 38:23 (38 hours, 23 minutes).
