Can I delete this Windows folder?

I have two folders under Docs and Settings...Windows and Windows New.
The latter was created, I think, when I reinstalled XP Home on the same
drive using a new name. Can I safely delete the (older) Windows folder?

Instead of rushing to delete the folder, rename the folder by adding a word
such as old or bad at the beginning of the folder name.
Delete the folder if you do not have problems after using your computer for
a week or two.

Don's suggestion is of course a good one. Note that you should
think of this as standard practice any time you're considering
deleting something, and you're not sure whether you should.
