Hi,

I read on KB Article #325379 that one alternative to free up more space on
your system drive is to run the following command:

rd /s %systemroot%\symbols

Is this a secure option to open free space on my W2K server?

Thanks for your prompt response to this matter.

The "Symbols" folder can contain over 500MB of files.
You can live without them.

Rule of thumb: before deleting any files, make a backup
copy. That way if you delete something and later find that
you want or need it, the files can be easily restored.
