Can I delete i386 folder?

I know that this folder is involved with the installation
of the OS, but I am not certain that it is necessary to
allow it to remain on one's hard drive. 1) Can I delete
this folder?

2) Since I now have three of them, I trust I can delete
all but one of them, right? I have one in
C:\Winnt\ServicePackFiles that is 200MB. I have one right
off my D drive, that is 77.5MB and I have one in
C:\Winnt\Driver Cache that is 59.3MB. They are taking up
a lot of space. The 200MB one is the most recent.

3) Is there any advantage to leaving one of these around?
Thanks, Joe

The biggest advantage of the i386 folder is that since the OS setup files
are held there you aren't prompted for the OS disk when you make system
changes. If you're at the point where that much space makes a difference I
would probably suggest getting a larger hard drive.
