Can I create a custom symbols library?

I have created some symbols that I would like to use in Excell. Is there any
way to add them to the default symbols or create another library? And does
anyone know how to navigate to the symbols folder?

In Excel, Symbols that you apply with:

Insert > Symbol are just characters in installed fonts.

1. create a font that incorporates your custom symbols
2. installl the font

The symbols will now be available from:
Insert > Symbol

Thanks Gary. You have pointed me in the right direction. Any thoughts on a
font program to use?
