Can I create a booklet form directory in Word

I'm trying to take and excel spreadsheet and create a booklet form membership
directory in word. i would like to stay away from publisher as the solution.
Can this be done?
 
Yes, you can select "Book fold" and create a "directory" or "catalog" merge.
