Can I copy an IE History Folder to another computer?

This is my first submission to the/any group. Please bear
with me. Thanks.

I have my public access computers in our public library
pretty well locked down. All changes made in a session
disappear at logoff/on. I can put a list of especially
helpful URLs in the dropdown picklist in IE's address line
before locking down the computer. Then, only these URLs
will appear to the next user in the next session (i.e. all
URLs added by the previous user will be gone leaving only
the ones I want to be there).

So, is there a way to copy the IE History Folder (is it a
file? Or a registry key? Or ... ? And where is it?) from
one computer to another (e.g. by floppy disk and cutting
and pasting in the appropriate path)?

I am working with many machines that use only local
profiles, so the process of entering in the desired URL
list on each computer, one-at-a-time, is daunting, not to
mention error prone.

There must be a way. Anyone out there know how it can be
done? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
