can I copy a query, rename and revise the table relationship

I am new to access, can I copy a query, rename and revise the table
relationship to create new report using the structure of an old one
 
Yes

But ensure you redefine the source of the new report as the new query. You
can do this by opening the report in design view and opening the properties
box (right cick outside the detail area). Go to the Data column and select
the new query you have just made from the drop down list.
