Can I change the titles in the general tab of the contacts in outl

I would like to change the phone number choices on the general tab in
Outlook, as the current ones do not work well for me. I know I can enter
them in the 'all fields' tab, but these do not sync to my smart phone where I
need these numbers to be most! Any suggestions? My version is 2002.
