I want to create a reminder to remind me 18 days form todays date, but my
reminders keeping popping up like every 5 days. Can I not create this time
frame. Am I only stuck with what outlook suggest (i.e., 1 week, 2 weeks,
etc.)

What version of Outlook and where are you creating a reminder? What happens
if you put in '18 days from today' in the box and tab out?

I don't put in "18 days from todays date" as a complete phrase, just 18 days
and I assume that Outlook 2003 knows that I mean 18 days from the day I put
it in but I could be wrong. Am I wrong?

You're not wrong. In fact, you can use "18d" and it will mean the same
thing.

Errr... well, when you hit tab, it should change the text to the actual
date. Which text gives you the date you want?

I mean, without really knowing what you're putting it on, if I put '18 days'
or '18 days from today', I get the same date on a E-mail followup reminder
field, so they are the same. If I want it to remind me 18 days before a
certain date, I'd put in something else, like, say, '18 days before November
19'.
