can I automatically copy a sent email into folder

Can I automatically save a copy of a sent email into a folder. Boss wants
this for emails to staff for personnel records and says it must be automatic
will not move them himself. Help!

Have you looked at Rules and Alerts?
 
You don't state what program you're using as your(his) email client or what
version.

Assuming Outlook?...look into: Tools | Rules & Alerts where you could write
a rule(s) to save specific sent emails to separate folders for each
employee.
