I need to access my e-mails from a work computer and a home computer. If I
send a message from my work computer using Outlook or Outlook Express, will I
be able to view that same e-mail from my home computer on Outlook or Outlook
Express?

Yes, if you use an IMAP4 e-mail account.

With POP accounts it won't be possible without software like VNC, GoToMyPC,
or pcAnywhere. With an IMAP account, it can be done, but depending on your
version of Outlook (which you decided wasn't important enough to mention),
it can be easy or more difficult. With an Exchange account, it's built-in.

This account is through my employer. How do I know if it's an IMAP4 email
account?

Go into the e-mail account that you defined in Outlook and check what
type of account it is. You did not mention WHICH version of Outlook
that you use so I cannot help you with navigation through whatever
version you have. In OL2002, just looking at the list of accounts
will show what type they are (Tools -> Email Accounts -> View or
Change).
