You'd be wise to take a look at a firewall called ZoneAlarm: www.zonelabs.com. Not sure if the free version allows you to block specific
ports, but the $35-ish version certainly does. And, it can also block
programs which attempt to access those ports.
There's so much I haven't used in ZoneAlarm Pro - I don't want to give you
