Can excel put a list in alphabetcal order?

I need to put a list of names in alphabetical order. Can this be done on excel?
 
Sort Them, Data>Sort, or click the Sort Icon (A above a Z and an arrow, up
or down).

Hi Mandy

Select all rows and columns of your list, click on Data|Sort, select the
column to sort by and OK
