Can ClearType be turned off for one program?

I play Chessmaster 9000 on my laptop with Windows XP. ClearType is wonderful
for everything on my laptop, except for this program. The text in
Chessmaster is really weird with ClearType on, but with it off, it's fine.
Is there any way to turn off cleartype just for this program? Kevin

Not just that one program automatically.

You'd need to turn it off yourself.

There are a few 3rd party programs that can tweak the cleartype settings and
let you turn it off & on etc.

I don't use cleartype so I don't have any bookmarks for them, but you should
be able to find a few by doing a web search.
