Can anyone help on ALT Text?

J

Julie Parkes

I have grasped labelling images using ALT Text, however I want to assign a
different label several different parts of one image. Is this possible?
Something like a hotspot, but without a hyperlink, just some ALT Text!

Thanks,

Newbie!

An image can only have one alt attribute. Your option would be to slice the
image up so that it is actually multiple images.

However, I can't think of any reason to give an image more than one alt
value. The alt text is just to describe the image if it can't be seen (text
browser, screen reader, search engine spider, etc.)

It will serve the purpose that the OP wants. Just for the record.

| I guess I don't really know what the OP wants, but this extension adds
TITLE
| attributes. TITLE attributes and ALT attributes are for different
purposes,
| just for the record.
