Can Access somehow zip files?

My Access DB needs to output data for use in a data warehouse. Currently it
uses TRANSFERTEXT then creates an FTP upload script and shells to execute it.
This all works fine but the FTP transfer frequently times out because of the
size of the files (150 meg). They are fixed length (have to be) and thus
would benefit from being zipped. Is there any way I can zip the files from
within MS Access? Thanks.

these newsgroups are for the FREE exchange of ideas, information, and
assistance. this is absolutely NOT the place to troll for business, such
postings are not welcome, and they make such a bad impression that it can
only hurt your reputation in the Access community.

if you want to post actual advice and assistance here in the newsgroups for
all to benefit from, or post questions of your own, then your participation
will be welcomed.
