Hi all,

I have 2 boxes, both with XP Pro on a wired network. I have simple file
sharing enabled on box A.

The problem is, I can access some of the shares on the box, but not all.
Oddly, I can access some of the files in a share on the box, but again, not
all.

For example, I have to videos, both downloaded within minutes of each other,
stored in a 'downloads' directory. From box B, I can see both files in the
directory, but if I open one it'll play, and if I try to open the other, it
tells me it's not available.

Both files have the same attributes.

I'm stumped!

Thanks for any insight!

Bugsy,

This is a known problem. Where are you looking at attributes - Windows
Explorer, or the ACL Editor?

Hi Chuck,

1st: Sorry about late reply, when browsing the groups using Firefox, I was
getting a service unavailable error, oddly, the same groups are available
using IE. Or maybe not so oddly... :)

2nd: I was looking at the attributes in Explorer.

Thanks,
Bugsy
