Hi Kelly,

Sure, Access can do this. It will probably require some coding though.
You might want to download MVP Arvin Meyer's "Birthday2K" sample
file found here:

http://www.datastrat.com/Download2.html

It has been quite a while since I have looked at that sample, but I *think*
it would pop up a message box or a form when a birthday was near. I
could be mistaken though.

Here are a couple other possibilities for study as well:

http://rogersaccesslibrary.com/Otherdownload.asp?SampleName='AppointmentsAlert.mdb'

http://rogersaccesslibrary.com/Otherdownload.asp?SampleName='ScheduleTracker.mdb'

I have not tried these out, but the descriptions sounded like something you
were after.

Hope that gives you some ideas,

Hi Jeff Conrad....
Would like 2 thank you regarding the MS Access pop out window
message....your information is useful.....whereas i';ll try it out on my
database and see how it goes....but now im stuck again on the "Security
section"
If im going to set a few users which each individual can access different
tables or parts in the database.....i seems to get confused with the "User &
Groups Account" and "Users & Groups Permissions".....i hope u can help me
with this section to make my database confidential....
Hope 2 hear from you very soon.....Thanks again....
