You likely best keep the file names 8 characters or less without any spaces to avoid issue. So, don't use: fax book.dbf but use faxbook.dbf for file names. (so 8 or less chars before the extension .dbf and without spaces. You likely also best put the files in a directory that has no spaces for the names also.... eg: c:\myDdfFiles\
