Can Access 2003 link to an AutoCad file?

I am constructing an Access 2003 database on the buildings of a community,
and use autocad 2007 to draw a building plan of each building. Through a
query in the database, I would like to link to the corresponding building
plan to be viewed/print.
Can you please help?
Best regards
Cumar

Perhaps indirectly. VBA, unless AutoCAD changed recently is still the
programming language for both Office (including Access) and AutoCAD. AutoCAD
also can output files in Excel format. Access can read Excel tables. So, if
AutoCAD can link to the file that it creates in Excel, you should be able to
link (but read-only, not update) from Access.

you should just be able to copy and paste ole objects from one to the
other-- at least it works that away from Visio for me
