Maybe a simple solution would be to purchase
a USB CompactFlash Memory card reader.

Just wondering...does the following link offer
any new information?

Troubleshooting KODAK Digital Cameras with
WINDOWS XP Software

Thank you for the help ... i have been to the kodak
site , on that page i have tried all those options ...
all my usb connection seem to be working , however i do
have a parallel device that displays a code 28 , not sure
if this has anything to do with this problem . Kodak tech
told me that the camera doesnt support usb connection,
and that i can proceed at my own discretion,I am not sure
what that means. Thanks again for suggestion on reader i
will check it out.

You're welcome.

Sounds like the card reader is your best bet.
