You don't give much information to go on so I'll tell you what I can. First,
is the server up and running properly? Is it timing out because your file is
to big or your timeout is set too short? Do you have errors in the file on
the server that would keep it from loading? If it is on a LAN, is the LAN up?
Is your computer connecting to the LAN? Just some places to start.
