Call and run FrontPage from Access

I have cross posted this to the access forum and FrontPage forum – sorry if
this is wrong but not sure which would be best. I will post if I have an
answer in either so as not wates people's time.

Is it possible to run a shell to synchronise a txt file in FrontPage from
access.

A bit like
Open frontpage
Log in with access code
sync the Private/txt file
Close Frontpage

The basics are that we (our host) in on a Unix and so can’t run asp
extententions. We could move to an NT server but this would be to
problematical (for other reasons).

So to receive data from on line forms (on the company web) I have created
some OnClick code to append the delimitated records to various tables in
access, then insert time/date and run “stuff†on records imported since the
last import. All quite basic.

But - The only way I have of updating the txt file is to open FrontPage and
download the new records from web forms. Of could I don’t want to give out
the access code to our website to all admin staff so this means that only I
(or other senior staff) can do run this process (and that’s assuming they
don’t mess it up).

I can run (open) word, excel, etc from access then run code to get these
programmes to do “stuffâ€. Is it possible to open FrontPage, send the access
codes, then synchronise the txt file (download the form data), then close
FrontPage. All OnClick from access.

Anyone with even a few tips would be really appreciated.

Many thanks
