Calender shortcut missing from Folder list in Navigation Pane

I have looked everywhere. I can get to it using the Outlook Shortcuts but I
hate that method.

In the folder list, what do you see above your Contacts folde?
 
Are you in the Mail navigation pane? If so, then you'll see only mail
folders. To see all, switch to the folder list.

Click the Folder List button at the bottom of the navigation pane. Normally,
it appears to the right of the Journal button.
