The one from mvps.org won't work on my system (winXP pro w/Access 2000).
Just disappears once clicked on (but the ldb file hangs there until a
reboot). Maybe it's just for Access2003?

Actually, it's a convertible Access 97 form. You'll need to convert it
first. Use Ctrl+Alt+Del to open the TaskMgr and end the msaccess.exe
process, then delete the LDB file. Disable the autoexec macro by renaming or
deleting it, and set frmStartup in the startup properties to open.

I've tried what you said, to end it from taskmgr and still can't delete the
ldb. Always have to reboot (and have had to, each time I try and look at
this piece of garbage). I've tried to convert it, but I can't get to the
autoexec macro because after I convert it and try and load it, it AGAIN
disappears and leaves the ldb there, but it's not running anything.

Gotta say, this isn't even worth the effort. Sounded interesting, but
W-A-Y too much trouble to try and work out. On to the next thing ...
