Is there any way to change to page layout on one page and the changes will
apply to all pages. I am working on next year's calendar and thought it might
be easier to distribute with Word than Publisher.

Many thanks, Kathy

That depends very much on what you mean by "page layout".

The settings in the Page Setup dialog -- margins, orientation, even/odd
headers and footers, etc. -- can be applied to the entire document (or to a
section, if your document contains section breaks) in one step.

If the calendar is constructed in a table, as most calendars in Word are,
and the changes you want to make are to properties of the tables, then the
answer is "not unless you use a macro to apply the same changes to each
table in turn".

Post back and tell us exactly what kinds of changes you want to make, and we
can then make a reasonable suggestion. I suspect the best answer is to use
Publisher to create the calendar, and then convert it to a PDF file for
distribution.

Hi Jay

Many thanks for your reply. Every other year I have used Publisher and then
just send to someone who has Publisher and eventually I email the document to
the Printer (both in another State of Australia).

I thought I would experiment with Word and test the template. What I wanted
to do was move the page contents down, which I did in page layout. I need to
change the font size and possibly the size of the columns and lines. I can do
that myself manually, I was looking for a way to perhaps write a macro to
then change the whole document.

Perhaps I should go back to Publisher?

I really appreciate your advice.

Regards, Kathy
