calendar problem

Up until yesterday when I scheduled something on the calendar that extended
over a few days the calendar reflected this by spanning the appt for the
days involved. I did a search for something and when I got the calendar view
back the spans were all gone. it shows the appointment but only for that
day and does not span even though in the calendar it is noted starts on the
10th and ends on the 20th.
I can see the span only if I open the appt but I liked seeing at a glance on
the calendar how long the appt extended.

That's the way the calendar works, a multi-day appointment is still only one
appontment so you only get one hit when searching. Perhaps in the past you
set them up as recurring daily appointments with a specific end date? That
would show up as multiple appointments when searching.

Actually while playing around (after many hours I found a section that was
checked as day/week/month with auto preview. I then checked the option
without auto preview and there it was. Thanks all.
