Calculator

I am trying to get the calculator to open in Scientific mode. I have opened
the calculator switched it to scientific mode and closed it , but it
continues to open in normal mode. I was wondering if there is a reg key that
I can change to have it open in scientific mode?

Here is a much better calculator provided by Microsoft which includes
conversion capability (Km. to miles etc.) as well as better Scientific Mode:

Since the Windows calculator and its Scientific mode was introduced, that
setting is still made in Win.ini section [SciCalc]. Most likely, you lack
of permissions to change that file.
