I have 2 columns with numbers in each column. Column A and column B.
I need to know what percentage of column A, is column B.
27 3
32 1
54 7
59 7
46 7
3 is what percent of 27
1 is what pecent of 32... and so on.
The percent would be put in Column C.
On paper, you would calculate it this way:
3= X/100 x 27
3= 27X/100
3= .27X
X= 3/.27
X= 11.1%
How would you translate this into an excel formula? Or is there a
simple formatting feature I am just missing here...?
