CALCULATING PAYMENTS AND TOTAL OF PAYMENTS

Hello,

When I calculate a payment it comes out okay, but when I
multiply it by the term to establish the total of payments
it multiplies the factor which is uneven and doesn't come
out correct. ie: a payment figured at 169.45 may in
reality be figured as 169.45496, at a sixty month term it
should be calculated as 10,167.00, but would be figured as
10,167.30 which would throw me out of tollerance with any
banking system. If you know the answer, please help.

Not sure what you actually require but there are several functions
that would help

=INT(cellref) will give a result without any decimal places but is
always rounded down

=round(cellref,x) will round to x dec. places and round to the nearest
up or down

There are several others that would also do if you scroll through the
"Math & Trig" functions
