Calculating Incremental Percentages

Is there a way to calculate incremental percentages? For instances, needing
3 numbers, I want to calculate and list incremental percentages like
50-30-20, where numbers start larger and get smaller. All percentages must
add to 100%. For 2 numbers, 60-40, and so on. Is this possible?

Anything is possible if you can define the problem. Is the starting
percentage a given? What's the relationship among the three numbers, other
than the fact they have to be smaller than the preceding one?

Regards,
Fred.
