Calculated fields problem

I have calculated fields that do not update after changing
the value of their precedent fileds but only one case
which is getting inside the calculated field's formula bar
and then pressing the "enter" button.
Do you know what is the problem?

Just in case you didn't know, this auto - manual calc switch can be found
at:

<Tools> <Options> <Calculation> tab.

have you checked tha automatic calculation is enabled?
