I have a sheet with (say) 3 input columns:
A has times [ 2:04:16 - 2 hours, 4 minutes and 16 seconds]
B has categories [ OM, OF, JM, JF]
E has competitor names
each competitor is allocated a category [ at entry time] and a finish time during an event.
I have 2 additional columns:
C = Place in category
D = Place overall
I'd like my sheet to be able to automatically calculate both place in category and place overall based on the times input. I figure a button on the sheet would ensure the changes aren't being made each time I enter a new time.
Any clues how to go about this one?
