I have a client that had rules that deleted certain emails upon receiveing
them. The rules corrupted and started to delete random emails when they were
received. I killed the rules and ran /cleanrules. Now, when in cached mode it
is still deleting emails and when in normal mode it doesnt. There are no
rules in either setup. I have created a new profile for the user, new .ost
file. Any other suggestion?

I believe the rules are in the mailbox on the server, so I don't think a new
mail profile referencing the same mailbox will have any effect. However,
/cleanrules is supposed to erase all rules, including server rules. Perhaps
a tool like http://www.dimastr.com/outspy/ can help you locate and remove
the rules on the server without having to create a new mailbox.
