Tanks for your help,
Daniel

To explain this in more detail:
In winXP, for example, when i access the network share the first time, i can
set a check box to force windows to remember the credentials i use for that
remote machine. So i won't have to type in my credentials again, when i access
the network share after a reboot of the local windows. Keep in mind that i am
talking about the workgroup and not the domain model.

Thanks for your help,
Daniel

It is not possible with Win2k. Credential manager was introduced only in XP.

Thanks
