Anyone know how I can restore or debug my xp cab files? I
have a corrupt file that is stopping an application. All
help is appreciated.

What problem(s) are you having - any error messages would be helpful. Which file do you think is corrupt?

Try this:

From Start>Run type

sfc /scannow

and have your XP CD to hand.

Copy the i386 folder to a folder on your hard drive and point XP there
when it want to see the cdrom.
