CA - where can we delete the infections

I know this is not the place to post my question but I can't help it as I did
not get any reply from CA when I send them the email (twice) about a week
ago. Their coporate section can't help either. Is there anyone out there who
have use CA anti virus scan and after the scanning, where can we click to
delete the infections? There is no button to click to delete it. When I
rescan, the sames infections will be detected, so obviously it does not
automativally clean or delete it. Kindly please advice if you are using CA
and I apologise for posting here, thank you very much.

Hello,

If you use the CA Anti-Virus, then it will automatically quarantine all the
viruses. You can delete these files if you wish by opening the CA Anti-Virus
window and then going to the 'Quarantine' section (see the left hand column
of the window) where it will list all the files it has quarantined. You can
then delete (by clicking on the delete button/ delete all button) these
"potentially malicious files" or restore them.

If it is quarantine in the first scan, why then if I scan immediately after
the 1st scan, it will detect the same virus infections.? Should there be zero
infections or at least not the same one at the same locations? This is what I
cant understand. Thanks for the response and hope you can share your thoughts

Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log
to an appropriate forum.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with
