I have Apache installed under Vista. Today I notices that web browser does
not open URLs http://localhost/.... , but only http://127.0.0.1/...

I commented the last string of hosts file so that it now looks like this and
everything works perfectly now:

Who knows what's the meaning of the last string: ::1 localhost ?
Is there any place in the world where the syntax is explained?
