c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. ERROR MESSAGE!!!!

hi,
i keep getting this message up "c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt." everytime
i try to load on to my computer any cd rom game. it never used to do this and
i think somrthing must have changed. but i don't know what?
it also comes up with the message "the system file is not suitable for
running ms dos and microsoft windows applications". at the same time.
can any one help me.
