This is a dotnet group, not an oldfashioned VB-group.

I don't think there's a way to automatically convert pointers, memory
allocations, ... so I guess there's no code converter between those two.

And this has to do with C# how?

The answer is no, though. While the reverse is conceivably possible, C++ to
VB 6.0 is not.
