C ++ Runtime Error

I keep getting this error:"Runtime Error "the path of the file I'm
trying 2 open" Abnormal program termination" when I try to play a avi file
or wen I try to start Winavi video converter.

Plus, it's either that or:"Same thing but instead of abnormal program
termination, it's the program has requested us to terminate it in an unusual
way or something likt that
