In one user's area in my XP Pro installation, double-clicking the C-Drive in
'My Computer' reveals all folders and files, but shows a task-pane which
looks as if it's a photograph folder.

For example, I would expect to see task such as 'Show (or Hide) the contents
of this drive', but instead, I see tasks such as 'Get pictures from Camera
or Scanner', etc.

I've checked Folder Properties, etc., and can't see anything obvious.

Is there anything I can do to get the folder back to behaving as it should?

Thanks,

Steven

Set Folder Options>View to show all files. Look for a file named
Desktop.ini in the root folder (C:\Desktop.ini) and delete it.

OR, use Folder Options> View and click the Reset All Folders" button to
revert all folders to their default views.
