C# as a modern language and LISP...

In this time a new mostly languges (Java, C#),
uses garbage collection, ant this was a one
of faults of LISP in past times...
The idea of Java virtual machine is totaly
copy of LISP byte code commpilling..
Also LISP is as all "new" languges also
ovbject..
And with all of this things that LISP have
from 1958..
The new programming languages are zero
in programmming dynamical structures..
And also one old Myth:LISP is slow,
but he or SCHEME can be implemented
in hardware....
To conclude LISP from 1958 have all
that all modern languages have, and more...
(CLOS (Common LISP object system)
s formed with datastructures,
he is only invented after 1958, but to do
CLOS was possible in 1958...

Just for kicks, let's add one thing LISP *doesn't* have:

Success as a general purpose programming language.

That's becouse a programming in LISP is for
true good programmers who easy programm with
recoursion and have a way of LISP thinking...

Says the guy that just typed out a post that requires translation to the
english language. If you like LISP then have at it.

So all these business applications out there not using LISP are being
developed and maintained by clueless dolts? And when was the meeting
where everybody decided that "good programming" requires the use of
recursion? Get a life.

in." (((Larry Wall)))

Couldn't resist, despite my affection for Lisp <G>.

The influence of Lisp and Prolog on C# and .NET has not escaped my notice.
However...
To conclude LISP from 1958 have all

What LISP lacked, and still lacks, is discipline. (Thus the development of
more disciplined languages such as Scheme and T.) Lisp became a mixture of
all available programming paradigms - "everything but the kitchen sink."
