by default I have got letter format instead A4

When I open new document I have a size letter format by default instead of
A4

Is any way to change it?

In a new Blank Document, without making any other changes, go to the Paper
tab of Page Setup and change the paper size. Then click the Default...
button and answer yes. This will apply the change to the Normal template.

Suzanne one ore question why Letter is default format in the application? Is
it has anything to do with printer driver ?

More likely to do with the fact that, if you have an English version of
Word, it is set up to U.S. specs. You'll probably also find that the unit of
measurement is inches and the default language is English (U.S).

Yes,

default English (U.S) is my nightmare.

Is any chance to set up English UK as default and or remove US at all? It
creates some problems with spell checker as well.

Set Windows Regional settings to UK English
Delete US English from Windows Regional settings
Uncheck the automatically detect option from the Word Language setting.
