Buzzing Monitor

Hello All,

I've got a Sony Trinitron 15" monitor and its starting making a quite
irritating high-pitched buzzing noise. (Particularly when the image on
screen is largely white.)

Does anyone know of a way to stop it? Or is it the end of the road for
my screen?

Changing resolutions or refresh rates may help, but it sounds like it's on
the way out... not worth repairing.

It's probably the flyback....(tripler unit). As stated, not worth repairing:
that component alone is worth the price of at least one expensive monitor.

It is cap C102 4700uF at 63 volt, this is common on this unit but it
may be time to just dump it and buy a new one a 19" CRT is about $140
or less.
