buttons covered

on an unbound form there is the header

and then in the detail section there are a set of 5 buttons

beneath them in the details section is a tab page arrangement

was playing around in adding another control/subform to the first tab page -
and all was fine....decided to tweak the subform size and to my surprise the
top set of buttons no longer show....the tabl page arrangement is now right
up to the detail bar when in form view...

in design view these buttons show and the tab page is lower...but in form
view it changes and the tab page arrangement is moved up and one doesn't see
the buttons...

not sure how I invoked this and in playing around don't seem to be able to
change...

Tab controls often adjust their size when you move things
around on a page.

Try just dragging the tab control down so it isn't so near
the top of the detail section.

ok so the resizing isn't my imagination......thanks....

did drag it down a solid grid 1" below the buttons that are being
covered.....but when going to form view the tab area still covers them up and
aligns right under the detail bar....

it is a little wierd to see it one way in design view and a different way in
form view...

went back to my backup and remade the addition to the tab page and was
careful not to be frivolous in moving things around and all is well......but
am still baffled as to what the situation is....plus of course am scared to
do anything to the page that could re-cause the problem.... oh well....
