BUTTON to toggle images on-off IE 5.5

Hallo,
I'm with IE 5.5

I'd like to have an esier (= faster) way to toggle images on-off
than going in Options > Advanced settings...

The ideal is to have a button near the other IExplorer buttons
or at least
in the Windows icontray near the clock

Is there an utility, plug-in,... that accomplish this?

I tried
"Web Accessories for Internet Explorer 5"

I correctly installed it
but I had a problem because
the 'Image toggler button' never appeared inside the
IExplorer window (nor in the button-bar, neither in the popup-menu..),
I even don't know where it should appear...
(the other Accessories all appeared).

Try again with Image Toggler.
If you installed it, it should be in the Links bar.

no way
(all the other acessories are present :-( )

Have you looked in the Links folder to see if the executable is there?
It should be (depending on your Windows version) "C:\Windows
Favorites\Links\Toggle Images.exe"
If it is not there, then perhaps you can determine where Toggle
Images.exe has gone?

What operating system are you using?

Good point !!!

"Toggle Images.exe"
is regularly in the
C:\Windows\Favorites\Links\Toggle Images.exe
but
becase of the Italian version,
it should have been in the 'Collegamenti' folder
(and not in the 'Links' folder)

so I manually moved it
and then I have it in the Links-bar !!!

You get a new *program* placed inside your Links folder to toggle
images. So look in your Links folder (which is also available as a
toolbar) and click on that. I believe it will not update the current
display so you will have to refresh if you want to repaint that web page
to show without images, but subsequent pages will not show with images -
except maybe for those that are still in your IE's temp file cache.
