Button doesn't work

I have created a button which should run some VB code. When I click on the
button it simply allows me to edit its' parameter and does not execute the
code. What do I have to do to activate the button?
 
Sounds like the worksheet is in design mode.Click the blue-green triangle on
the Controls toolbar, and see if that fixes it.
